Assembly Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 3:00pm by Allyson Holliday, President.
Roll Call:
Roll was taken via sign-in. Thirty-four members were present for General Assembly meeting.
President: Allyson Holliday
Officers were introduced.
All present representatives introduced themselves.
OCT Committee members were recognized for their work in successfully creating an Assembly.
Vice President: Sherry Phillips
Went over by-laws.
Described standing committees. There will be committee sign-up at the next Assembly meeting.

In addition to the standing committees, there will be an ad hoc committee that is responsible for conducting a survey of OCT staff. Recommended that this committee include questions in the survey addressing the Faculty Senate Smoke Free Campus Resolution in the survey.
An OCT Staff Assembly website is being developed by OIT free of charge. The website is www.octsa.ua.edu and the hope is that it will be accessible the first part of May.
A show of hands of those that have signed up for the Day of Service on April 21st. At the time, there had not been any information via email received by the volunteers. Allyson requested that volunteers take pictures, if possible, that we can post to our website.
The presidents of the OCT, PSA, Faculty Senate and Student Senate are meeting on Monday, April 23,2012.
Solicit ideas for recipients for our Outreach Committee. The PSA is Brewer Porch.
Other Business:
Vera Johnson and Anita Davidson requested that records be checked to make sure that their emails are listed and correct. Secretary, Renae Sullivan, will be following up on the request.
